WEST DECATUR - Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, for Barbara A. Peters, 53, of Spring Valley, West Decatur RD, who died Sunday, Jan. 26,1997, as a result of a motor vehicle accident along U.S. Route 322 between Woodland and Clearfield. The Rev. Michael Sharp will officiate.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery in Spring Valley, Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Spring Valley United Methodist Church, in care of the Rev. Michael Sharp, RR 3 Box 238, Clearfield, Pa. 16830.
Mrs. Peters was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Bradford Township, a daughter of Clarence and Bessie (Hunt) Wisor.
She was employed at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was a member of Spring Valley United Methodist Church. On April 21,' 1962, she wed MacEvoy L. Peters, who survives.
In addition, she is survived by two children, Michelle Raina Casher of Clearfield and Michael Shawn Peters of Hyde; five grandchildren, Kelsey Ann Casher, Amber Lee Casher, Jessica Lynn Peters, Breanna Gail Peters and Michael Shawn Peters Jr. Also surviving is a sister, Gail Rauch of Woodland; and three brothers, Arnold Wisor of Mineral Springs, and Melvin Wisor and Arthur Wisor, both of Woodland.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
