Clearfield Progress September 5, 1978

Spencer Hunt WOODLAND - Spencer Hunt, 75, of Woodland died Monday, Sept. 4, in the Clearfield Hospital.

He was born April 2, 1903, in Winterburn, the son of the late Steven and Margaret (Drugs) Hunt.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Thelma (Green) Hunt, Woodland; sons, George of Mineral Springs, Albert of Woodland, Delbert of DuBois; sisters Mrs. Myrtle James. Woodland; Mrs. Bessie Wisor, Mineral Springs; Mrs. Mary Parks, Franklin; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Verda in 1958, three sisters and eight brothers.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 from the Leavy Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Bogdan of Glad Tidings Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Bradford Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. today; from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow and until the hour of service Thursday
