Kenneth (Ted) Gause, Sr., 77, of 1208 N. McCullough St. died at 4:40 p.m. Thursday at St. Rita's Medical Center.

Born Ocotber 24, 1906, in Convoy he was the son of Charles V. and Flora May Welch Gause. He married Mary E. Todd on February 20, 1928, and she survives.

Mr. Gause had retired in 1970 as a machinist with Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton. He was a member of Lima Eagles Aerie 370 and Council of Elders.
Survivors also include two sons, Kenneth L. Gause, Jr., of Lakeview and Gary L. Gause of Cridersvile; four daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Viola) May, Mrs. Bernard (Patricia) Burkholder and Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Wellbaum, all of Lima, and Mrs. Paul (Judy) Pierce of Mount Clemens, Mi.; 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Chiles and Sons-Laman Wayne Street Chapel, Dr.Thomas F. Batts officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home where an Eagles memorial service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday.
