He was the son of Kenneth Leroy and Mary Todd Gause, Sr. He first married Karen R. Logan, and they divorced on Nov 8, 1984. On Mar 6, 1986, he married Mary M. Smith, who survives in Lima.
Also surviving are three sons: Jeff, Travis and Kenny, III; a daughter, Nikki Jacks, Lima; a stepson, Chad Johnson; two sisters: Patricia (Bernard) Burkholder, Lima and Judy, Detroit, MI; and three grandson: Logan, Lane and Camden Jacks.
Deceased are two sons: Todd and Scott; a brother, Gary; and two sisters: Viola May and Shirley Wellbaum.
He had been a Tow Truck Driver for Ford Motor Co. and was a member of the Lima Moose and Elks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a craftsman at making and sharpening custom knives.
