CHARLES V. GAUSE
Charles V. Gause, 72, of 653 N. Jefferson St., died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, in his residence, after a brief illness.
Gause, native of Willshire, had lived in Lima for the past 29 years. He was employed as a custodian at the Telephone and Telegraph Co. here for 20 years until 1943.
Surviving are his widow, Flora, and a daughter, Mrs. Grace Risk, at home; a son, Kenneth of 1210 N. McCullaugh St., and a brother, Thomas of Marion, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chiles and Son Funeral Chapel with Rev. Maurice O'Connell officiatng. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The body was to be removed from the funeral home Sunday, to the late residence where it will remain until time of services.
