Ida Binder, 85, 419 Centennial Towers, died Friday, March 7, at Hadley Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 1, 1901 in Catherine to Casper and Mary (Wolf) Rupp.
She married Roy Binder May 17, 1920 in Hays. He died April 3, 1977.
She was a homemaker, lifetime Ellis County resident and member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Charles and Robert, both of Hays; three daughters, Marie Molleker, Evelyn Amundson and Ruth Cooper, all of Hays; brother, Edward Rupp, Hays; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Hays Memorial Chapel, 20th and Pine, with Father Steve Heina officiating; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. A parish wake service will be 8 tonight at Hays Memorial Chapel. Friends can call 3-9 p.m. today at the chapel.
