Gilbert Johnson died suddenly Saturday morning at his home at Hartford. He was born in Burlington, Iowa, June 20, 1860 and came to Hartford in 1905 where he had since made his home. He is survived by his widow Maude; three sons, Glenn at home, Irvin of 1916 Grand avenue, Everett, and Raymond in the United States Army; four daughters, Mrs. Ivy Struve of Sherwood, Ore., Irma Vincent in Florida and Irene and Beulah at home; a brother, Charles, of Burlington, Iowa, and three grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was a member of the First Baptist Church at Hartford. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Auseth funeral home with the Rev. Claude L Neal of the First Baptist church of Everett, officiating. Internment will be in the family plot in Cypress Lawn cemetery.
