He was born near Prairie Grove in this county Sept. 19, 1868, the son of the late Joel and Lucinda Judd Johnson, and was married to the former Rosa Greve March 25, 1903, at Prairie Grove.
Surviving are his widow, 2 sons, Clyde Johnson, West Burlington route one, and LeRoy Johnson of Burlington; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Rickelman of Wapello; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Seven brothers, 2 sisters, 5 half-brothers and 2 half-sisters are dead.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Prugh's chapel with Rev. A. E. Brent officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Grove cemetery.
