When a small child she moved with her parents to a farm in Republic County, Kansas, near Narka, later moving to Cuba, Kansas, where she met and married Amasa G. Carpenter. They made Cuba their home for several years and moved to Lincoln about 25 years ago. Mr. Carpenter passed away September 10, 1949.
On March 19, 1952, she was united in marriage to Cyrus W. Williams. She is survived by her husband, two sisters, Emma Kasparek of Portland, Oregon and Christina Popham of Cherry Valley, Illinois; and one brother, Joe Jakabosky of Molalla, Oregon.
Funeral services were conducted at the Umberger Chapel with the Rev. F.C. Stark officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery near Havelock, Nebraska.
