Anna Cheeks Parks, daughter of Randolph Cheek, was married abt 1795 to Thomas Parks. They resided at Parks Crossroads, Randolph Co., NC and had 8 children: John, Milly, Fields, Joab, Ambus, Henry, George Washington and Lydia.
Anna is buried on the Parks' Homestead in the Parks/Stout Cemetery. The cemetery lies on private property and the current owner has allowed the cemetery to become a dumping ground and pasture for cattle. No regard to about 20 gravesites has been given and the cemetery was in deplorable condition last visited in 1999. These photos may be the last record of the graves.
Parks Crossroad lies south of Ramseur, NC at the intersection of Old Siler City Road and 2628. The Parks/Stout Cemetery is located on 2626 about a mile north of the church. It is on private property on the left down a short drive among a grove of trees.
