Mrs. Velva Fickes Hefflefinger, wife of Clark B. Hefflefinger, Sr., 405 Arch Street, died this morning in the Harrisburg Hospital. She was 63 years old.

Born on Feb. 21, 1902, she was a daughter of the late Clifford O. and Alma Palm Fickes. Mrs. Hefflefinger was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she was supenintendent (sic) of the Home Department of the Sunday School. She was also a member of the Strohm Sunday School Class and of the Women's Guild.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Clark B., Jr., Carlisle; six sisters, Mrs. John Wagner, RD, Newville; Mrs. Hazel Harvey, Mrs. Robert Hoover, both of Newville; Mrs. John Lindsey and Mrs. Edna Lehman, Carlisle, and Mrs. Eugene Krugh, Hagerstown, Md.; three brothers, Walter and Lee Fickes, Newville, and Paul Fickes, Doylestown.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the Hoffman Funeral Home. The Rev. Russell M. Weer, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Westminster Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening.
