Prominent Farmer Dead

Sebastian Rosenmeier, a prominent farmer of the town of Beaver Dam for many years, passed away in death at his home at 4:35 a.m. yesterday morning. Although in failing health for the past year, Mr. Rosenmeier had been able to be about until Sunday of the present week at which time he suffered a stroke of paralysis and sank steadily to the end.

He was one of the pioneer residents of this section, having been born in the town of Westford on March 18th, 1861, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rosenmeier. He had resided in the town of Beaver Dam for the past fifty-seven years, his parents having removed to that town when he was four years of age.

In 1889 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Schmidt of the town of Beaver Dam, who passed away about a year and a half later. One child born to this union also preceded the father in death. He married a second time on February 7, 1893, to Miss Catherine Kaiser, who with the following children survives him: Edwin of this city; John and Robert of the town of Beaver Dam; Louise of Los Angeles, Calif.; Leo, Mathilda and Frank of the town of Beaver Dam. One brother, Joseph also of the town of Beaver Dam, survives.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's church in this city at nine o'clock tomorrow morning with interment in St. Peter's cemetery. The services will be in charge of Rev. Fr. Geo. J. Muenzer.
