MR. THOMAS MEADE ALDOUS, 73 of Kenova, W.Va. died Wednesday, March 1, 1989, at his residence. Funeral servies will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova, by the Rev. Alan Sheriff. Burial will be in Docks Creek Cemetery. He was born Sept. 12, 1915, in Sligo, Pa., a son of the late Charles Aaron Aldous and Nancy Ellen Aites Aldous. He was a 30-year member of Cement Mason Union Local 249, Huntington, and served as vice president. He was a past president of Woodmen of the World. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Hood Aldous; three daughters, Barbara Kline and Kay Curll, both of Clarion, Pa., and Donnie Snow of Port Clinton, Ohio; one son, Benny O. Aldous of Orlando, Fla; three step-daughters and stepsons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arick (Leah Van Hoose) Naeder of West Jefferson, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Rebecca Van Hoose) Wentcel of Columbus, Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Myra Arnett) Hurley of Kenova; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Patricia Bias) Arnett of Kenova; one sister Gladys Holben of Clarion; one brother and sister-in-law, Mayor John B. and Elsie Aldous of Strattanville, Pa.; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Rollins Funeral Home.
