CLARION - Mrs. Nancy Ellen Aldous, 86, of Strattanville, widow of Charles Aldous, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday in Warren.

Born in Sligo, October 1, 1879, she was the daughter of Elijah and Susannah Dunkle Aites.
On January 25, 1900, she married Charles Aldous. He preceded her in death in 1960.

She was a member of the Methodist Church of Strattanville.

Mrs. Aldous is survived by seven children, Mrs. Charles (Rosella) Theiss of Knox RD 2, Mrs. Mae Switzer of Rimersburg, Mrs. James (Sue) Centorcelli of Clarion, Mrs. George (Viola) Dunkle of New Bethlehem RD, Thomas Meade Aldous of Kenova, W. Va., John B. Aldous of Strattanville and Mrs. Fred (Gladys) Holben of Strattanville; two brothers, Peter Aites of Huey and Harry Aites of Mercer RD; one sister, Mrs. Barbara E. West of Massillon, Ohio; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. One daughter and three sons preceded her in death.

Removal was made to the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion, where friends are being received.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, with Rev. Paul E. Dunn, pastor of the Methodist Church of Strattanville, officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarion Cemetery.
