Edgar Huston Glass died at his home in Waverly at 10 o'clock Friday evening, Dec 21, 1945. Mr Glass was born March 30, 1866 in Spencer Co KY and came to Kansas in 1869. He married Jennie Hollenback on Nov 11, 1907 at Waverly she survives along with a son Wilbur E Glass Kansas City MO and one daughter Mrs Zeph Underwood Nevada City CA and five grandchildren. Mr Glass was a member of the Presbyterian Church and of Waverly Lodge #244 AF&AM
Services were held at the Presbyterian Church Monday Dec 24th burial in Waverly Cemetery

Edgar Huston Glass was the son of Gilbert and Lucinda Glass He came to Kansas with the family in 1869 and settled on a homestead in the southeast part of Osage County where he grew to manhood.
On Feb 19, 1889 he married Lillie Truitt, to this union two sons were born Wilbur Earl and Ernest Roland. Both sons served in the first World War. Lillie Truitt Glass died June 14, 1897 and Roland died in Kansas City June 18, 1923
He married Mrs Jennie Hollenbeck on Sept 11, 1907
