Fleta was seventh of nine children born to Calvin G. and Louisa A. (Lambert) Kivett. She married William Turner Barberand they were the parents of one daughter: Dortha Louise.

MRS. FLETA BELL BARBER
DIED HERE LAST NIGHT

Mrs. Fleta Bell Barber, 22 year old, died at a local hospital at 1 o'clock last night, following a case of typhoid pneumonia. She is survived by her husband, W. T. Barber, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Kivett, of Chatham county, two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Bivans of Danville, Va., and Mrs. Martha McMasters, of Chatham county, and the following brothers, Luther Kivett, Vester Kivett and Pearl Kivett, all of Greensboro, Delma Kivett, of Chatham county, Percy Kivett, of Frankfort, Ill., and Rufus Kivett, of New Mexico. The funeral will be held sometime tomorrow at the home of Pearl Kivett, 941 Silver Run Avenue.

The funeral of Mrs. Fleta Bell Barber, who died Wednesday night, at a local hospital, will be conducted from the residence of P. C. Kivett, 943 Silver Run avenue at 2 o'clock. Rev. W. R. C. Cox will have changes of the services. Interment will be in Greene Hill cemetery.
