Pearl was the sixth of nine children born to Calvin Graves and Louise A. (Lambert) Kivett. He married (1) Blanche Cooper in 1910 and they were the parents of two children: Winfred Eugene and Flossie Elma. He married (2) Edna Grace Hussey in 1939 and they were the parents of three children: Paul Clarence, Edna Paulette and Evangeline Elsie.

GIBSONVILLE - Pearl Clarence Kivett, 94, of 7500 Farwood Road died Monday at Twin Lakes Nursing Center in Burlington.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bartlett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington.
He was a native of Randolph County and a retired carpenter.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Edna Hussey Kivett; daughters, Mrs. Paulette Spence of Richmond, Mrs. Evangeline Lutfy of Youngville; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.
