Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Warren and Katherine(Brown) Pennock.
He was employed as a full-fashion knitter by the former Rosedale Knitting Mill, Laureldale, for 20 years, and worked for ten years at the former Heffner's Amoco Service until retiring in 1969.
Pennock was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mary B. (Butts) Pennock, two daughters; Joan, wife of James Bitting, Reiffton, and Georgia, wife of Dennis F. Buchert, Lake Wynona; four grandchildren.
Also four brothers: Norman and Edward, both of Reading; Clifford, Mohnton; and Earl, West Lawn; and two sisters; Anna, wife of Stanley Schiffner, Stony Creek Mills, and Eleanor, wife of Edward Richards, Laureldale.
