Funeral arrangements have been completed for Warren O. Pennock, 79, a retired watchman, who died yesterday in his home, 149 Maitland St. Before his retirement he was employed by the Wertz Warehouse Company.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Cramp Funeral Home, the Rev. John N. Ritter officiating. Burial in Charles Evans Cemetery.
Pennock was born in Collegeville, but lived here the past 71 years. He was a member of the Lutheran denomination.
Surviving are his widow, Catharine E. (Brown) Pennock; these children: LeRoy W., in the army stationed at San Antonio, Tex.; Carl C., Reading; Earl, Laureldale; Norman W., at home; Edward L. and Clifford O., both of Reading; Helen M., wife of Charles Lonaberger; Anna, wife of Stanley Shiffner, and Eleanor, wife of Stanley Richards, all of Reading; 23 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Ella Rank, Philadelphia.

Married 1st to Clara Miller and had 4 children. Then married Catharine M. Brown and had 14 children.

Children not listed are: Norman Wilson Pennock, and Eleanore Katherine with Catharine Brown, and Mary Isabella with Clara Miller.


NOTE: According to death certificate he was born as above and not 1870. He is not listed in 1870 census which was dated 13 July 1870. Also it states place of death as above and not Maitland St as in obit. Sometime between 1895 and the 1900 census he changed spelling to Pennock.
