Funeral services for Vella Estelle
Dickinson, 94, Tipton, Will be held at
10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 1999 at
Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, with Pastor
Richard Smith officiating.

Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic
cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7
p.m. today, Wednesday, July 21 at Fry
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dickinson died July 19 at Cedar
Mano Nursing Home in Tipton, following
a lingering illness.

The daughter of Norman L. and Etta S.
Ford Gritton, she was born Sept. 11,
1904 in Tipton. She attended rural
Cedar conty schools. She married John
I. Dickinson on Dec. 20, 1920 at the
South Bethel church, rural Tipton.
Mrs. Dickinson was a homemaker.
She was a member of Moscow Trinity
church and the Women's Country Club in
Moscow for 50 years.
Mrs. Dickinson is survived by 2
sisters, Alberta Dugger, Tipton, and
Gladys (Mrs. Gene) King, Solon; a
brother Howard Gritton, Clarence; and
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, 4 brothers and 2
sisters.
