Bufard Durrett, 58…died Monday at his home.
He was a native of Greensburg, a retired parts and service sales representative for the Whayne Supply Co., a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Hillview Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Adell Milby, two sons, a sister, Mrs. Louise Hodges of Greensburg; four brothers, Hyman, Vernis, Calvin and Ancil Durrett, all of Greensburg and a grandchild….Entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum.

Mr. Buford Durrett, age 58, son of the late O. T. Durrett and Lura Milby Durrett, was born June 5, 1925 in Green County and departed this life at 8:30 a.m. June 4, 1984 at his home in Louisville. He was 58 years, 11 months and 29 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Hillview Cumberland Presbyterian Church at the time of his death.
Mr Durrett was employed at the Wayne Supply Company and was a veteran of World War II.
He united in marriage to Adell Milby December 22, 1951 who survives. To this union were born 2 sons....
Mr. Durrett is also survived by 4 brothers and 1 sister: Hyman, Rev. Ancil, Calvin and Vurnis Durrett, all of Summersville and Mrs. Louise Hodges of Summersville, 1 grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Sherel Milby, Darryl Milby, David Milby, Mike Durrett, Steve Durrett and Doug Hodges.
The remains were at the Embry-Bossie Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. June 6, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Robert Forrester and Rev. Tom Powell officiated.
