Charles A Paul, 79, founder of the Paul Pulley Works, now Paul Pumps, Inc, died at 4:49 pm Thursday at his residence, 4915 Fairfield Avenue. Mr Paul made his home at Lake George for 37 years after his retirement several years ago. He returned to Fort Wayne two years ago, however, and has lived here since. He had been ill five months. He was a brother of the late Henry C Paul, prominent industrialist and banker. Mr Paul was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church and the Aquaduct Club. He is survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews. the body was moved to the Klaehn and Sons Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 pm today. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Saturday at the funeral home, Dr Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery. Fort Wayne Journal Gazette - August 15, 1947
