Wife of Bank Official Dies in Hospital
Mrs Augusta (Paul) Lepper, 66, of 317 East Wayne street, wife of Henry W Lepper, vice-president of the Lincoln National Bank & Trust company, died at 4:50 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Lutheran hospital. She had been in failing health about two years and was taken to the hospital for treatment May 15. Mrs Lepper was born in Fort Wayne and had resided in the city all her life. Surviving are the husband; two children, Mrs Edwin O Moellering and Miss Vera C Lepper, both of this city, and three grandchildren, Martha, Victor and Richard Moellering. Mrs Charlotte Kern of this city is a sister and Charles A Paul of Lake George, Ind is a brother. She was a member of St Paul's Lutheran church here, the Ladies Aid society of the church, and the Lutheran hospital Ladies' Aid society. The body was removed to Scheumann's funeral chapel where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock and 2:30 o'clock at St Paul's Lutheran church, Rev Paul F Miller officiating. Burial will be in Lindenwood cemetery. Services at the funeral chapel will be private. Friends are asked to omit flowers. The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 3 o'clock this afternoon.
