She was probably born as Theresa in August 1905 in Chicago, the fourth of eight children of Andrew Leep and Sarah DeVries.

The family Leep lived on 15 April 1910 in the southern part of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, Ward 32, District 1413, Sangammon Street no. 9851

In 1911 Tracy's family Leep emigrated to the former Dutch settlement Cramersburg in the southwestern part of the Canadian south central province Saskatchewan. Her mother Sarah died there in February 1916 at the age of 40 years. In 1916 Tracy (10 y), her father and widower Andrew Leep (40 y), four brothers, three sisters and grandmother Clara Leep (66 y) were administrated in Maple Creek in the utter southwestern part of Saskatchewan, about 70 miles southwest of Cramersburg. Her father Andrew remarried in March 1918 in Saskatchewan to the ten years younger Catharina Maria Elisabeth (Katie) Otto.

Animal diseases, coldness, dust bowls, drought, grasshopper invasions, several successive crop failures and low grain prices caused them to leave Canada and in 1921 the family moved to Shepherd, Yellowstone County, Montana, where the family stayed for about five years.

Tracy Leep married on 21 November 1924 in her residence place Manhattan, near the Dutch settlement Little Holland, later on called Amsterdam-Churchill, Gallatin County, in the southwestern part of Montana, at the age of 19 years to the seven years older Onnie H (Anne) Oldenburger, born in December 1897 near Maxwell City, Colfax County, New Mexico and also residing in Manhattan, son of Henry (Haye) Oldenburger and Rainsty (Reintje) Postma.

In 1940 Tracy (34 y) and Onnie (41 y) Oldenburger lived with their children Harry (13 y), Andrew (11 y), Ruth (9 y) and Evelyne (3 y) in Middle Creek, Gallatin County, Montana.

Her husband Onnie Oldenburger died on 8 February 1949 in Bozeman, the seat of Gallatin County, Montana at the age of 51 years.

Tracy remarried on 21 October 1972 to Harry TeSelle, since 1970 widower of Edith M. He died in July 1980 in Bozeman, Gallatin County, at the age of 78 years. Tracy died in 2000 in Bozeman too, at the age of 94 years.
