Charles Henry Donegan, Jr., age 89 of Seguin, passed away on May 17, 2011. Charles Henry Donegan, Jr., age 89 of Seguin, passed away on May 17, 2011. Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Purdy officiating. Henry was born on October 25, 1921 in Seguin, Texas to Hettie Willie Giffen and Charles Henry Donegan. He was a member of the Seguin High School Class of 1939 and he attended Texas Lutheran College. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence. He practiced law for over 40 years in Guadalupe County and served as President of Seguin Savings. Henry was a long time Rotarian and loved ham radios, archery, water skiing and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Benton Donegan, brothers-in-law, Buck Luce and Raleigh Custer, and sisters-in-law, Idalen (Mrs. John) Donegan and Betsy Traeger Weyel. Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Marjorie Weyel Donegan; children, Charles Henry Donegan, III (Trip) and wife Linda, Marjorie Lee Vogt and husband Gary, Anne Michelle Costas and husband Nick, and Amy Rebecca Bethel and husband Gary; grandchildren, Charles Henry Donegan, IV (Chad) and wife Christy, Melissa Ann Donegan, Matthew Hauschild and wife Jennifer, Chris Hauschild and wife Sarah, Brian Donegan Vogt, Stuart Michael Vogt, Justin Weyel Vogt and wife Mandy, Nicholas Peter Hantse Costas, Jr. and wife Kym, Christopher Teague Hantse Costas and wife Laura, Whitney Rebecca Morgan and husband Craig, Danielle Donegan Panozzo and husband Darrell; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Travis, Colten, Cody, Ashley, Matthew, Cassidy, Cayden, Chandler, McKenna, Nicholas, Tyler, Ryan, Jake, Charlie, Henry, Benton and August; sisters, Marjorie Luce and Patricia Custer; brothers, John Donegan and Emmett Donegan and wife Geri; sister-in-law, Mary Louise Donegan; brother-in-law, Rodger Weyel and wife Linda; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Dairy Queen Coffee Group. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 710 N.
