Marjorie Lee Weyel Donegan, age 90 of Seguin, passed away on March 12, 2013. Marjorie was born on November 18, 1922 in New Berlin, Texas to Edgar August Henry and Irma Elsie Muelder Weyel.

She was a graduate of Seguin High School and received her Associates Degree from Texas Lutheran College (Texas Lutheran University) where she and Henry both sang in Texas Lutheran College Choir. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Seguin where she served several terms as Superintendent of the Sunday School Classes. She helped found the first Republican Women's Club in Guadalupe County. Marjorie also served as the Tejas Club President, Jr. Delphian Club President and the Literary Club President. Marjorie enjoyed her role as a community activist as well as spending precious time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing duplicate bridge and was a Silver Life Master.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Charles Henry Donegan, Jr., parents, brothers-in-law, Benton Donegan, Buck Luce and Raleigh Custer, and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Luce, Idalen (Mrs. John) Donegan and Betsy Traeger Weyel.

A memorial service celebrating Marjorie's life will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at First United Methodist Church.
