Mrs. Fannie Martha Daisy Brandenburg, 84, of Route 1, Myersville, who died yesterday at Frederick Memorial Hospital, leaves 118 descendants.
She was the widow of George W. Brandenburg, and a daughter of the late Josephus and Rebecca Gross Wise. She leaves seven daughters, Mrs. Mary Wiles of Frederick; Mrs. Mildred Toms and Mrs. Lillian Smith, both of Middletown; Mrs. Ethel Harne of Myersville, Mrs. Erma Green of Myersville, Mrs. Aline Smith of Walkersville and Mrs. Emogene Orrison of Frederick; five sons, Frank and Marshall Brandenburg, both of Middletown; Albert and George W. Brandenburg Jr., both of Middletown; and Melvin Marshall of Hagerstown; two brothers, John H. Wise of Frederick and Joseph Wise of West Alexander, Ohio; 40 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Gladhill Funeral Home in Middletown Thursday until noon. Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Brethren in Harmony. The Rev. Basil Grossnickle will officiate, and burial will be in the Reformed Cemetery at Middletown.
