MRS. EMMA F. HOUSER, wife of Charles B. Houser Sr., died last night at 10 pm at her home near Downsville, after a long illness, aged 69 years.
She was born and raised in Middletown, Md. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsport.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children; Mrs. Bert Spielman, Freeport, Ill.; Mrs. Howard Betts and Mrs. Robert Shadrack, at home; Mrs. John Baker, near Downsville; Charles B. Jr., near Williamsport; Joseph H., at home; sisters, Mrs. Robert Kepler, Hagerstown; Mrs. Rena Houser, Sharpsburg; Miss Edith Wise, Boonsboro; Mrs. Fannie Brandyburg, Myersville; brothers, Oliver Wise, Middletown; Joseph Wise, Alexandria, Ohio; Charles Wise, Troy, Ohio; Harry Wise, Hagerstown; John Wise, Myersville. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services on Saturday at 3 pm at the home, with the Rev. William C. Huddle and Rev. Mr. Frick officiating; interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Williamsport.
