Swen Pearson, 81-year-old Munterville native, died Monday at Muscatine. Mr. Pearson was born in Munterville January 28, 1859. He was married to Nettie Westlake, March 15, 1887, at Ottumwa. He had been a member of the Munterville Lutheran Church all his life. Surviving are his wife; daughter Dr. Stella Pearson of Muscatine; sons, Howard R. of Macon, Missouri, and Dr. R. R. Pearson of Muscatine; grandsons, Robert, Jerry and Richard Pearson of Muscatine; brother, N. P. Pearson of Blakesburg, and sister, Mrs. A. F. Johnson of Chicago. Services will be at Munterville Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. R. Frobenius of Muscatine and the Rev. J. G. Swedberg of Munterville. Burial will be at Munterville Cemetery, Munterville, Iowa.
