Harry Austin was born in Greene Co., Iowa to Robert Briggs and Mary Frances (Hilliard) Austin. He married Martha Pearl Petry at Denver, Mo on Sep 26, 1909. Harry came to Minnesota from Iowa in a covered wagon. The family settled first in Brainerd, before moving to Little Falls. He worked for the State of Minnesota maintaining state armories. Harry enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. Mr. Austin passed away at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls. Many friends and family from Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri attended his funeral at the Thompson Funeral Home.
