Nels Jenson
Oylen-The Oylen Christian Missionary Alliance Church was filled to capacity last Saturday for the funeral service of an old pioneer, Nels Jensen who passed away July 9, at the Staples Municipal hospital.
Mr. Jensen was born in Denmark in Nov. 1885 and spent most of his life on a farm about 3 miles east of Oylen, Cass County. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Corrine; three sons and three daughters.
Rev. Howard Batdorf officiated at the final rites and interment was in the Marshall Cemetery where many of his relatives are interred.
