Funeral services for Lloyd Jensen, 60, Oylen, were conducted at 11 a.m. Mar. 9, 1983 at the Oylen Christian Missionary Alliance church with Rev. Ronald Zook officiating. Interment was in the West Lyons cemetery, Lyons township.
Mr. Jensen passed away at the Staples United district hospital Mar. 7, 1983.
He is survived by five sons, Richard, Harvey, N.D.; Eugene, Council Bluffs, Ia.; Leo and Ronald, Staples; Raymond Schnoor, Fergus Falls; five daughters, Patricia Jensen, Staples; Donna Rowland, Verndale; June Walker, Motley; Paulette Simonson, Sebeka; a friend, Grace George, Motley; three sisters, Mrs. Garnet Boyer, New Orleans; Mrs. Kenneth (Iva) Tomlinson, Duluth; Ruth Serfling, Staples; 13 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Leurs.
Casketbearers were Duane Jensen, Russell, Roger and Steven Dailey, George Pribbenow and Hank Mitchell.
He was born to Nels and Corrine (Redding) Jensen, Oct. 5, 1922.
Mr. Jensen was a mechanic and musician.
