Mrs. Baker died Monday at her home.
She was born Jan. 30, 1895 in Botetourt County and was a foster daughter of the late J. V. and Lizzie Ruebush Lago.
She moved to Mt. Crawford when she was five and lived there until 1987 when she moved to Richmond to live with her daughter, Miss Ruby Baker.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.
On Dec. 20, 1917 she married Journey Ernest Baker, who did Dec. 20, 1966.
Surviving in addition to her daughter are five other children, Mrs. Juanita Pirkey of Rt. 2, Waynesboro, Mrs. Nellie Losh of Rt. 1 Dayton, Miss Ruth L. Baker of Richmond, Jacob E. Baker of Waynesboro and John D. Baker of Rt. 2, Bridgewater; two half sisters, Mrs. Pernie Whorley of Big Island and Mrs. Martha Crouch of Buchanan; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The body is at the Lindsay Harrisonburg Funeral Home where the family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. today.
