Altia Coulson Burnette, 74, of Rt. 1, Woodlawn, died January 12, 1989 at her home.
She was born in Carroll County September 28, 1914 to Israel Coulson and Amanda Sharp Coulson.
Surviving are her husband, Wesley Burnette; a daughter, Treva Sue Harris, Gulfport, Miss.; two sons, Berlin Hanks, Martinsville; Donald Burnette, Austinville; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held January 15, 1989 at 2 p.m. in Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Robert Johnson.
Burial was in Monta Vista Memory Gardens.
