Deceased, whose maiden name was Margaret Ellen Snyder,was born at Port Royal, Pa., August 11, 1866, and would have been 57 years old had she lived until August 11 of this year.
G. B. M. Wisehaupt and Margaret Ellen Snyder were united in marriage at Port Royal 35 years ago by Rev. A. H. Spangler, now of Yeagertown, but then pastor of the Lutheran Church at Port Royal and who will conduct the funeral services today. To this union 14 children were born, ten of whom are living.
The surviving relatives are: her husband, G. B. M. Wisehaupt; four sons, Frank of Port Royal, John, Lewistown, and Luther and Darwin, at the parental home; six daughters, Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) Garrett and Mrs. Joseph (Margaret) Garrett, both of Wilkes Barre, Pa.; Mrs. Maurice (Jane) Shunkwiler, Lewistown; Mrs. David (Pauline) Thomas, Jr., Lewistown; Mrs. Chester R. (Lillian) Leach and Miss Gertrude at home; one brother Dr. G. F.Snyder, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Altoona, Pa.; and one sister, Mrs. Cloyd (Rebecca) Gus of Payette, Idaho.
The funeral services will be conducted at her late home Wednesday morning at 9 a.m., the cortege moving to Port Royal by automobile, where additional services will be conducted in the Lutheran Church, where the deceased was organist for more than a decade in her earlier life.
