MRS. MARGARET ELLEN GARRETT, 69, Lewistown, died in the F.W. Black Community Hospital, at 7:30 pm., June 11, 1965, after an illness of seven months.

She was born in Juniata County, Aug. 2, 1895, a daughter of the late George B. M. and Margaret Snyder Wisehaupt. Her husband, Joseph S. Garrett, died in 1961.

Mrs. Garrett was employed in the job-printing department a the Lewistown Sentinel for approximately 27 years, retiring in1955.

Surviving are two children: G. Darwin Garrett of Port Royal and Mrs. David (Betty) Van Zant of Lewistown.

The following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. R. Burns (Jane) Grubb, Mrs. David (Pauline) Thomas and M. Luther Wisehaupt, all of Lewistown; Mrs. Chester (Lillian) Leach of Winfield, Union Co.; and Capt. Darwin M. Wisehaupt of San Diego, Calif; four grandchildren.

Mrs. Garrett was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church.

Interment was made in the Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
