AGED WOMAN GOES TO REWARD

Mrs. Elizabeth Cox Boyd Passes Away at Ripe Age of 82 – Seven Children Survive

Mrs. Elizabeth Cox Boyd, 82 years old, a prominent Hopkinsville woman, died this morning at her home on South Virginia Street, after an illness of five months.

She was the widow of G. H. Boyd, who died in January, 1908.

Mrs. Boyd was born in Trigg County and was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons: E. I. Boyd, H. F. Boyd and M. E. Boyd and four daughters, Mrs. J. B. Witty, Misses Ada, Myrtle and Fannie Boyd, all of this city.

Funeral services will be held from the residence at 10 o'clock Friday morning, conducted by Dr. P. C. Walker, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

The pallbearers will be L. B. Cornette, W. H. Martin, Malton McGrew, R. E. Jones, J. E. Pyle and Dennis Shaw.
