END CAME THIS AFTERNOON FROM A COMPLICATION OF TROUBLES OF LONG STANDING

(From Thursday's Daily)

Brice Boyd, aged forty-four years, died this afternoon at his home on East Seventh Street of a complication of diseases from which he had been ill for some time. His decline recently had been steady and his death was not unexpected.

Mr. Boyd was born in Trigg County but had spent most of his life here. For some time he had been connected with his brother, M. E. Boyd, with the drug firm of Martin & Boyd. He was a popular citizen and a man of business ability and wide generosity. He was a devoted member of the Baptist Church.

His wife died several years ago and he is survived by his son, Roscoe Boyd, two brothers and several sisters.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence, 722 East Ninth Street. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.
