WINNFIELD — Four-year-old John P. [sic T.] McFarland, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. McFarland of Dodson, died yesterday at 6:45 p.m. after a 48-hour illness.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Pine [sic Zion] Hill Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Willie Broadway officiating.
Interment was in the Vine [sic Zion] Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Besides his parents, he is survived by nine brothers, G. T. McFarland, New York City, W. L., Galveston, Tex., Bobby Joe, Armed Forces, Loran, Georgia, Lester, Germany, Charles, Jackie, Bud and Peter, all of Dodson; five sisters, Mrs. Margie Garrison, Rayville, Mrs. J. D. Gray, Crew-Port, Wash., Mrs. Harry Vilardo, Tallulah; Miss Nann McFarland and Miss Margie Anne McFarland, both of Dodson.
