He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Esther McFarland of Dodson; four brothers, Charles McFarland of Winnfield, Brady McFarland, Peter R. McFarland, and Samuel D. McFarland, all of Dodson; five half-brothers, W. L. McFarland of Beaumont, Tex., J. T. McFarland of Brooklyn, N.Y., Lorin McFarland of USAF, Lester McFarland of U.S. Army, Bobby Joe McFarland of Washington; three sisters, Nancy McFarland, Mirah McFarland and Thelma McFarland, all of Dodson; three half-sisters, Mrs. Margie Garrison of Rayville; Mrs. Cleo Balardo [sic Vilardo] of Tallulah, Mrs. Wordell [sic Wardell] Gray of Jonesboro; paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother.
