Luther Herbert Warren was the son of Uriah George Warren and his second wife Exer Ashley Stone. Luther married 29 May 1946 Myrtle Morris Deweberry. He married second Judy (Gay) Gibbs. His obituary read:

Luther H. Warren, 76, of 222 Broad St., Carrollton, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998. Mr. Warren was a native of Carroll County, the son of the late George Warren and Exie Stone Warren. He was a retired employee of Southwire Company and was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Judy Gay Warren; Step-children, Ruel and Marjorie Dewberry of Douglasville, Connie and Wendy Dewberry of Austell, Bobby and Linda Gibbs of Temple; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Allen and Ernestine Warren of Carrollton and Pelham Warren of Temple; sister, Mrs. Erma Stone of Carrollton. Funeral services will be conducted today, Oct. 10, at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Elder James Embry officiating. Pallbearers will be Bobby Gibbs, Artemus Gay, Arnold Warren, Doyal Warren, Mike Stone, Wayne Stone and B.J. Warren. Interment will follow in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
