Exer Ashley (Stone) Warren died 17 Nov 1975 in Carroll Co GA. His first wife Fannie Louisa Bowen as the daughter of Luther Bowen and his wife Lella Jackson according to the death certificate. Her death cert stated she died at age 38 yrs 6 mos on the fourth day following an abortion. She died of puerperal septicemia and was buried in Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. 2nd wife Exer Ashley Stone had an out of wedlock daughter named Rebecca Stone born Feb 20, 1910 who later married one of Uriah's sons.

Mr. Uriah George Warren, age 60, passed away early Sunday morning in his home near Center Point after a weeks' illness. Funeral Services were held Sunday at 3 o'clock at Bethesda Church conducted by Rev. C.L. Matthews. Interment was in the church cemetery. Mr. Warren moved to this county from Heard county, and later spent four years in Texas,
returning to Carroll County about thirty-two years ago. He was first married to Miss Fannie Bowen, who died several years ago. He is survived by his second wife, formerly Miss Exie Stone, two daughters, Mrs. G.R. Stone of Waco, and Miss Willie Mae Warren, of Clem and eight sons, Alvin Warren, Henderson, TX, Lazarus Warren, Andrew Warren, Rufus Warren and Fred Warren of Clem, Luther Pelham and Allen Warren, of Center Point. He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. O.D. Whitehead and Mrs. R.S. Shirah, of Star Point Community, and Mrs. Lee Boyd, of Overton, TX and three brothers: Will Warren of Henderson, TX, John Warren of Roopville, and Ben Warren of Clem.

Mrs. Exie Warren, age 86, of 101 Avenue C died early Monday in a local hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Carroll County, June 2, 1889, the daughter of the late George Stone and Eleanor Williamson Stone. She lived in Carroll County most of her life. Mrs. Warren was a member of the Clem United Methodist Church. In 1920 she was married to George Warren who died June 27, 1937. Surviving are three sons, Luther Warren of Carrollton, Pelham Warren of Villa Rica, and Allen Warren of Carrollton Route 4, two stepsons Alvey Warren of Overton, TX and Fred Warren of Carrollton, Route 6; two stepdaughters Mrs. Erma Stone of Carrollton and Mrs. Willie Mae Salter of Tifton, GA; one grandson, 12 step grandchildren; six great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren; and a brother, Davis Stone of Indianapolis, IN. Funeral services were conducted Tues Nov 18, 1975 at 3 pm from the Welcome Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Irvine Phillips officiating, assisted by Rev. O.M. Hale. Music was under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Moore. Pallbearers were Larry Warren, Wayne Stone, Junior Smith, Doyle Warren, Mike Stone and Verlin Warren. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Carrollton and Villa Rica Police Departments. Interment was in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
