REV. E.M. BOWMAN DIES IN BROWNSVILLE
The Reverand Edwin M. Bowman, 81, former pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Brownsville, died at his home in Beacon Heights there yesterday. He had been ill a short time. Mr. Bowman, who was born in Stahlstown, Pa., held pastorates in Ebensburg, Braddock and Hollidaysville in 1907. He retired in 1929. His widow, is Maggie V. Bowman, and also surviving are two daughters, Miss Genevieve Bowman of Jeannette, and Mrs. Lucille Steele, of Brownsville; two sons, Lloyd Bowman, of Jeannette; a brother, John L. Bowman, of Cresson, Pa., and three sisters, Miss Laura Bowman, Mrs. Gertrude Witherow and Mrs. George Fink, all of Irwin. The body will be at the Ross Funeral Home in Brownsville until services tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock in the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Irwin cemetery.
