Johnnie Weston Rainwater, 97, of Raton, passed away Thursday March 31, 2011, in Raton. She was born Dec. 18, 1913, in Comanche, Okla., the daughter of Charles and Allie Weston-Hubbard. Johnnie was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James W. Rainwater and son James Ronald Rainwater.
She is survived by three daughters, Coleta Spangler of Grants Pass, Ore., Betty Cates of Raton and LoRita Wall of Raton; two sisters, Evelyn Wingfield of Oklahoma City and June Rogers of Boonville, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 6, at 1:30 p.m. at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton.
