Evelyn Wingfield, age 88, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020. She was born in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma on February 21, 1931, the 8th of nine children, of the late C.W. ‘Charlie’ and Allie Weston Hubbard.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by seven siblings; and her husband, J.C. Wingfield.

She is survived by one sister, June Rogers of Booneville, Arkansas; her son, Stan of Oklahoma City; her daughter, Judy Harrell and husband John of Rush Springs, OK; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.

Evelyn always walked in the love of the Lord and by faith. She loved her family dearly and treasured her church families.

She worked outside the home for many years to help with expenses and the needs of her children when they were in school.

In later years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and family members going camping, trekking through the mountains and backwoods.

Later in life, Evelyn kept children in her home and was dearly loved by all of them.

She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting, quilting and crocheting.

Evelyn was always a beautiful woman, both outwardly and inward, always kind, sweet and loving, and she was noted for her smile and laughter.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman.
