Correll Gilbert Gardner-Crenshaw, 85, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, April 2, 2011. Born March 1, 1926, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Mable Robbins Gilbert and wife of the late Billy R. Gardner and secondly to the late William L. Crenshaw. She was also the mother of the late Sylvia G. Greer and Mark Gardner. She was a member of Green Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Daniel Gardner and wife Sue of Spartanburg; a granddaughter, Kim Hammett and husband Ricky of Glenn Springs, two grandsons, Todd Gardner and wife Janice and Brent Gardner and wife Sherry all of Spartanburg; two great-grandsons, Trey Bullman of Glenn Springs and Jaxon Gardner of Spartanburg; and a brother, James Gilbert of Glenn Springs. She was predeceased by four brothers, Conrad, Jake, DuPree, and Lamar Gilbert; and six sisters, Selena Arthur, Ophelia Boiter, Lillian Arthur, Myrtle Abbott, Majorie Wilson, and Mary Frances Phelps.

Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, April 4, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Thomas Moore. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
