Mrs. Richerson, daughter of the late Luke and Nancy Brockman Colvin, was born May 20, 1899 in Taylor County Kentucky. She died Monday, September 13 at 9:55 Pm at the Mary Immaculate Hospital in Lebanon. She professed faith in Christ at an early age in life and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Edd Richerson November 24, 1918 and to this union five sons and five daughters were born. Surviving are Leonard and Larry Richerson both of Taylor County; Mrs. Aileen (Eddie) Maupin, Mrs. Barbara (Frances) Maupin, Fred, Eddie (May), and Cora Nell Richerson, all of Louisville; and Aurthur (Ray) Richerson, U. S. Army stationed in Korea.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, One in infancy, and Mrs. Louise York on February 14, 1953.
Besides husband and children, she is survived by four brothers and two sisters, Tommy and Jodie Colvin and Mrs. Hattie Melton, all of Taylor County; Mrs,. Addie Richerson of Marion County; Sug Colvin of Chenoa, Ill; and Turner Colvin of Montycella, Ill. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
The Pallbearers will be Donald Wise, Closkey Colvin, Stanley Raffety, Leslie Mardis, Carl Richerson and Albert Richerson.
