Arrangements for funeral services for Wesley Maroney, 48, of 101 N. Alabama, had not been completed this morning at N. S. Griggs & Sons.

Mr. Maroney died yesterday at 8:30 p.m. in Northwest Texas Hospital, where he had been since suffering a heart attack about a week ago.

He was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ.

Mr. Maroney was born Nov. 13, 1906, in Roxton, Texas. He was a truck driver.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lois Maroney; a son, William Dale Maroney; a daughter Brenda Gail Maroney, all of Amarillo; four sisters, Mrs. Virgie Owen, Dimmitt; Mrs. Effie Owen, Childress; Mrs. Mabel Owen, Childress, and Mrs. Katherine Ioor, of Amarillo; a brother, Leroy Maroney, Amarillo, and his father, W. M. Maroney, Childress.

Former Resident Dies In Amarillo

Wesley Maroney, former Childress resident, died of heart attack in Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo, at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. His home was in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Childress Church of Christ, conducted by Harrell Collard, minister. The body will arrive here Friday morning. Interment will be in Childress cemetery by Newberry.

Survivors are his wife and three children, Brenda and William Maroney of Amarillo and Mrs. Vernon Jenschke of Germany; his father, W.M. Maroney of Childress; a brother, Leroy Maroney of Amarillo; four sisters, Mrs. E.L. Owen of Dimmitt, Mrs. J.E. Ioor of Amarillo, Mrs. Odis Owen and Mrs. O.P. Owen, Childress; and one grandson in Germany.
