From the Petaluma Argus-Courier, December 27, 1932:
FINAL RITES FOR YOUNG MATRON
The funeral of the late Mrs. Geraldine Josephine Leathe, nee Brazil, whose untimely death several days ago has caused such sorrow, took place on Tuesday morning from the chapel of Blackburn & Sorensen, thence to St. Vincent's church where a requiem high mass was celebrated by the Reverend Father John O'Brien for the repose of the soul of the loved young woman. The church was filled while the floral offerings were exquisite and very numerous.

At the conclusion of the mass, a long procession of vehicles filled with relatives and friends, followed the funeral coach to Tomales Calvary and there in the family plot she was laid at rest. Rev. Father F. J. Donnolly offering the final prayer. The handsome casket was carried to the grave by Cyril Bihn, Thomas Bassett, Robert and John Ransom and Paul and Louis White. Will Sorensen conducted the funeral.
