Western New Yorker-November 23, 1893
Death has again been in our midst, this time calling for Mrs. Lousia Allen. She departed this life on the 19th inst., after an illness of only a few days, with that dread disease le grippe.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mary Wright, Mrs. Clara Zeches and Mrs. Bessie VanSlyke. She died at the age of 63, leaving her husband, Isaac Allen, alone in his old age, but his children will do the best they can to make his last days peaceful and happy.
Isaac and Lozana had another daughter Bessie E. Allen 1866-1929.
